Rockin' My Retirement
On a high, rocky hill in the forest, off the grid and far from any road,
I am building a hideaway. Of stone.
DIY but OMG. Why would I do such a thing? After spending my career working in an office, I want to get my hands on something solid.
The Concept
Build a tiny studio, on a rocky knoll with views of forest, so that the building seems part of the landscape. Easier said than done.
